Couple Gets Married In Lincoln Park 'Friends' Pop-Up Bar
Cynthia Rivera and Jose Martinez found their lobsters, and tied the knot with all the "Friends" watching.
CHICAGO — According to Pheobe, it's a "known fact that lobsters fall in love and mate for life," and a couple did just that on Sunday in the "Friends" pop-up bar at Replay in Lincoln Park. Cynthia Rivera and Jose Martinez got married in front of Central Perk's classic old couch in the pop-up bar, which opened Friday.
Rivera is a huge fan of the show, and her new husband is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, so getting married at the bar over the Veteran's Day weekend was a perfect fit for the couple.
The pop-up bar at 2833 N. Sheffield included plenty of 90s nostalgia for wedding throwback photos, and "Friends"-themed cocktails.

"She's your lobster. C'mon you guys. It's a known fact that lobsters fall in love and mate for life. You can actually see old lobster couples, walking around their tank, you know, holding claws. ... See? He's her lobster!" - Phoebe, talking about Ross and Rachel
