About The Second City Training Center
The Second City is known for its award winning improv and long list of well-known comedy actors, writers, producers and directors. Tiny Fey, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Adam McKay, Steve Carell, Steve Colbert, Mike Myers, Aidy Bryant among many many others have performed or studied at the mecca of improv comedy.
But, not every student wants be a professional performer. Thousands of students take classes at The Second City Training Center as a fun stress free hobby.
That’s right; you don’t have to be an SNL hopeful to take classes at the Second City Training Center. You don’t even have to live by the Chicago, LA or Toronto locations. Hundreds of students take comedy writing online and fly in for the 5-Day intensive workshops.
The Second City Training Center offers 8-week, 4-week, workshops and 20 dollar weekly improv drop-in classes for experienced and new students. Classes are offered 6 terms a year in improv, sketch and satire writing, stand-up, acting, musical improv, voiceover, filmmaking and producing.
Adult and Kid's classes start every 8-weeks.
