Ex-Boyfriend Attacked Woman Then Fell Asleep on Her Couch: Police
The Lincoln Park man is accused of choking his ex until she passed out.

CHICAGO, IL - A Chicago woman was brutally attacked by her ex-boyfriend early Monday morning and later awoke to find the man sleeping on her couch.
Travis R. Holcomb, 33, of the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, was charged with aggravated domestic battery, aggravated domestic battery by strangulation and violating an order of protection for prior domestic battery this week, according to DNAinfo.com Chicago.
Holcomb, who had an active restraining order placed against him by the 30-year-old victim, is being held in the Cook County Jail on $500,000 bond.
Holcomb entered the woman’s Uptown apartment early Monday through an unlocked back door then kicked her and choked her until she eventually passed out. She regained consciousness around 3 a.m., when she found Holcomb sleeping on her couch.
