Fullerton Avenue Down To One Lane For Construction

If you're driving around at night, be aware Fullerton will be down to one lane for the Lincoln Common development.

CHICAGO, IL -- Traffic will be down to one lane until the end of the week as the Lincoln Common development adds storm sewers. Ald. Michele Smith (43rd) alerted residents Tuesday that traffic will be down to one lane between Orchard and Burling between 7 p.m. and 4 a.m. The construction is expected to wrap up by Friday.

"We appreciate your patience and understanding as The Lincoln Common comes to life!" Smith posted.

The development is going up on the site of the old Children's Memorial Hospital, located on the triangular lot between Lincoln, Fullerton and Orchard Street. (For more local news, subscribe to free email news alerts and a daily newsletter for your hometown Patch.)
