Good Libations Beer Fest To Be Held In Lincoln Park

CHICAGO, IL — A tropical-themed beer festival is coming to the Theater on the Lake in Lincoln Park. Illinois Craft Beer Week is hosting its first-ever closing event at the lakefront venue on May 25. The festival will bring more than 60 local and out-of-state craft breweries to Lincoln Park, organizers said.

The event will feature small bites by Theater on the Lake Chef Cleetus Friedman, organizers said. Friedman is known for his work at City Provisions and Fountainhead.

Good Libations kicks off at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 25. Creative tropical attire is encouraged, organizers said. Tickets cost $60, and include samples from more than 60 breweries and small bites.

Illinois Craft Beer Week takes place May 18 to 25 across the state, and includes hundreds of local craft beer events.
