Eighth Grade Boys Among Victims of Knife-Wielding Men on North Side
Six incidents were reported in less than 90 minutes late Monday afternoon.

CHICAGO, IL - A group of three black men surrounded victims and robbed them in six separate incidents in less than a two-hour time frame late Monday afternoon on the North Side.
Six cases of the men approaching victims and physically restraining them by putting them into a headlock of surrounding them so there is no escape were reported between 3:45 p.m. and 5:01 p.m. in the Bucktown, Lincoln Park and Lake View neighborhoods, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report.
In one of the incidents, the victims were a group of eighth-grade boys at Wrightwood and Greenview avenues in Lincoln Park, NBC reported.

In each of the cases, the men showed a knife “in a menacing manner” and made off with the victim’s cellphones, credit cars and cash. They all sped away in a black Nissan or Honda hatchback vehicle.
The men are described as being between 13 and 25 years old. One said to be about 5’5” and 150 pounds and another 6 feet and 180 pounds.

Three of the six robberies occurred on Greenview Avenue between the 2500 and 3700 blocks.
