Lincoln Park's Worst Intersection Turned Into Map Art
A creative Seattle-based artist saw the art in Chicago's worst intersections. He was inspired by a 11,000-mile bike ride around the U.S.

CHICAGO, IL — Seattle-based artist Peter Gorman has created a 20-image work of art that represents Chicago's most-complicated and dangerous intersections. Gorman said he was inspired after biking for a year around the United States in 2014. During his trip, the artist said encountered many different, odd intersections.
Lincoln Park's notorious Halsted, Lincoln and Fullerton intersection is the sixth one featured in Gorman's design.
"I wanted to make the design because after I posted the 'Intersections of Seattle' print on my store, several people from Chicago requested a similar design," Gorman explained. "I really like the city and I enjoyed my time there, so I was excited to "revisit" it by making a design about it."
