Man Seriously Injured In Lincoln Park Bar Fight

CHICAGO, IL — A 23-year-old man was taken to an area hospital after a bar fight in Lincoln Park, police said. When police and an ambulance arrived, the man was found with a serious head injury, according to authorities. The fight happened at McGee's Tavern & Grille early Thursday.

Officers were called to the bar, located at 950 W. Webster Ave., around 12:20 a.m., police said. A large crowd had gathered in the area, authorities said.

The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition.

Police said the 23-year-old was in a fight with another man, who ran away from the bar.
