Mediterranean-Inspired Cafe Opens In Lincoln Park
The new bake shop has taken over the former By The Park cookie shop spot.

CHICAGO, IL — A new bake shop has opened in Lincoln Park, just in time to tempt people away from their summer swimsuit-ready diets. The Mediterranean-inspired Cafe Corbel offers offers pastries, bagels, cakes, savory bites and more. The cafe went up in the former By The Park bakery spot at 2342 N. Clark Street.
Cafe Corbel's menu includes Turkish bagels, cheese puffs, baclava, macaroons, mousse and a range of sweet and savory pastries. The bake shop also makes vegan desserts, birthday cakes, and gluten-free, nut-free and dairy-free cookies.
"We are a boutique company, which means we can always customize the items in our menu according to your liking. You want it, we make it," the cafe's website reads.
