Police Continue Search For Lincoln Park Intruder

A suspect wanted in two home invasions is still at large, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are continuing their search for a man wanted in two home invasions in Lincoln Park early Sunday morning. Police said the man broke into a home in the 400 block of West Belden around 2 a.m. and made sexual advances toward a girl while she slept in her bedroom. Around 20 minutes later, the man broke into another home in the 500 block of West Grant Place, where he had sexual contact with a girl who was asleep, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, 5-foot-6 to five-foot-7 and weighing around 160 pounds, police said. He has short brown or strawberry blonde hair and smokes cigarettes.

In 43rd Ward crime alert, Ald. Michele Smith said that in both home invasions, the doors were left unlocked.
