Police Warn Of Armed Robberies In Lincoln Park
There have been at least four armed robberies in the Lincoln Park and Gold Coast neighborhoods in under two weeks, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — In a community alert, Chicago police are warning North Side residents of a string of robberies throughout January. Victims in the Lincoln Park and Gold Coast neighborhoods are being targeted, police said. In each of the four robberies, a suspect walked up to the victim, pulled out a gun, and stole property, according to police.
The robberies happened in the following locations:
Sat., Jan. 13 in the 1300 block of North Astor Street

Sat., Jan. 20 in the 300 block of West North Avenue
Sun., Jan. 21 in the 1800 block of North Sedgwick Street

Sun, Jan. 21 in the 2200 block of North Bissell Street
Three of the robberies happened in the early morning hours; however the robbery on Sedgwick happened later in the evening.
