Presence Saint Joseph Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician Named "Top Doctor" by Consumers' CHECKBOOK

Benjamin Jay Friedman, M.D., chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the medical director of the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital was named a “Top Doctor” by Consumers’ CHECKBOOK. A not-for-profit organization, Consumers’ CHECKBOOK surveyed Chicago area physicians to discover the local top doctors in 38 specialties. Consumers’ CHECKBOOK Top doctors are recommended by other physicians at least three times, and Dr. Friedman was recommended four times by his peers.

A board certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Friedman is also on the medical staff at Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston. He earned his medical degree at The Chicago Medical School - Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital. His clinical interests include geriatrics, orthopedics, stroke and amputee rehabilitation.
