Real Estate Veteran Jeanine McShea Returns To @properties

McShea among several top-producing brokers returning to Chicago's largest real estate brokerage firm

@properties, the largest independent real estate brokerage firm in Illinois, announced that Jeanine McShea, a residential real estate veteran with over 30 years of experience including both sales and management, has returned to @properties as a broker. She will work out of the firm’s East Lincoln Park office alongside her daughter and team member Erin McShea. Previously, Jeanine McShea was managing broker of Related Realty in Chicago, and Erin McShea was a sales associate with Related.

The McSheas are among several top-producing brokers who have joined or returned to @properties in recent weeks. Former @properties brokers who are back with the firm include Ryan Parks, Victoria Thomas, Kathleen and Mary Beth Malone, Bessie Alvarez and Jonathan Kramer. New to @properties are Ami Bumia, Anne McMillin, Brian Levitas and Patrick Hawkins. Together these brokers account for more than $73 million in 2015 sales volume.

“This is a competitive industry, and Chicago is a very competitive market. The best brokers are highly sought after. So we’re always happy when brokers who left as ‘free agents’ come back because they realize the culture and resources we have here are unique,” said Thaddeus Wong, co-founder of @properties.

Jeanine McShea first joined @properties in 2003 as one of the firm’s first 100 agents. In the ensuing years, she served as vice president and managing broker, and in 2010 was promoted to president of brokerage services. At @properties, McShea helped oversee the firm’s expansion to more than 1,000 brokers with offices in the city and on the North Shore. Throughout her career, she has been involved in sales, management, training and development, and recruitment.

“Jeanine had a significant role in taking @properties from a small, boutique brokerage firm to the No. 1 broker in the city of Chicago,” said @properties co-founder Michael Golden. “She was integral to our dynamic culture and our growth, and we’re thrilled to have her back.”
