Second Glass’ Wine Riot Returns To Chicago With 250 Wines From Around The World

Popular Wine-Tasting Event Uncorks Oct. 14-15 at Venue One in Fulton Market

Wine Riot, a wine-tasting experience unlike any other, is back in Chicago by popular demand. On Friday, Oct. 14 and Saturday, Oct. 15, wine newbies and wine connoisseurs alike will gather at Chicago’s Venue One (1034 W. Randolph St.) in Fulton Market for an all-access pass to more than 250 wines from all over the world.

Wine Riot combines education and fun by providing guests with an opportunity to learn about wine from every major wine-producing country. Become a win-o by participating in crash courses and interactive booths that are staffed by experts who will offer tips and tricks for conquering the wine world. Guests can also enjoy tunes from a live DJ, photo booths, an Instagram station, postcards, temporary tattoos and more. Attendees can also download the Wine Riot app, which tracks your favorite wines and shows you where to buy them later, arming you with all the tools needed for total wine domination.

Chicago’s very own City Winery will be showcasing many of its wines at the event. As a leader and innovator in urban wine from California and New York, the local winery will host a special crash course on harvesting grapes for fall. Attendees will have a chance to touch and try real wine grapes.
