Sedgwick’s Gets Cheesy with the ‘Wiki-cheese-ia’ during National Grilled Cheese Month

The combination of cheese and bread is the staple when it comes to grilled cheese, but in honor of National Grilled Cheese Month, Sedgwick’s Bar and Grill has taken the American favorite to the next level! With three times the amount of cheese and an added mound of smoked meat in between a pretzel bun, Chicagoans will have no problem saying ‘cheese’ as they snap a photo while enjoying the ultimate sandwich.

It’s called the Wiki-cheese-ia and only the chefs at Sedgwick’s could pull off this cheesy concoction for the food holiday. The special grilled cheese starts with layers of American, Swiss and Gouda cheeses, topped with a grilled tomato and packed with smoked crispy pancetta and avocado all in between a soft pretzel bun. Plus, each Wiki-cheese-ia will be served with a Sedgwick’s homemade cup of soup, fries or tater tots.

On Saturday, April 12, otherwise known as National Grilled Cheese Day, cheese-lovers can post a photo of themselves eating the Wiki-cheese-ia using hashtag #wikicheeseia on Twitter and Instagram for a chance to win an after work grilled cheese and cocktail party for ten people. The ultimate combination!
