Sounds Of Summer Concert Series Coming To Lincoln Park
Two free concerts will be held in the neighborhood's Newcity outdoor plaza on Halsted.
CHICAGO — A free mini concert series will be held in the final days of summer in Lincoln Park. The series will offer several genres of music. The family-friendly concerts will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday evenings at Newcity's outdoor plaza, 1457 N. Halsted.
The line-up includes:
· August 23: School of Rock - Rock Hits
· August 31: Wedding Banned - '80s

People are welcome to bring food, drinks and chairs to the concerts, organizers said.
