Santiago Auserón, alias Juan Perro, was the former
lead singer of Radio Futura and one of the most eminent names within Spanish
rock of the 1980s. He is the pioneer in spreading the roots of son cubano in
Europe. He will present, along with master guitarist Joan Vinyals, part of his
recent record, “The lost rhythm.” This evening will include a conference and an
acoustic concert in which Auserón will talk about the tradition of ethnic
fusion in Spanish music. He will play a selection of songs from his latest
albums.
