The Grill on the Alley on the Magnificent Mile is launching a tasting menu series from Thursday, July 17 - Thursday, August 7 inspired by the design of their new menu.
Chef Jorge Alvarez has carefully prepared four unique 5-course tasting menus that include a special drink pairing with each, keeping in mind his goal of encouraging guests to experience The Grill in a new and interactive way - trying multiple items at a fixed price.
"I wanted an avenue to showcase our menu in an innovative way that allowed guests to experience more than just one dish in a completely new way," Chef Alvarez said. "There's something on the menu for everyone to enjoy."
The tasting menus will run consecutively for four weeks and will rotate from alcohol pairings from light to dark, beginning with white wine for $105 (July 17), followed by beer for $55 (July 24), bourbon for $75 (July 31) and ending with red wine for $115 (August 7). A pre-sold ticket is required to experience this classic American steakhouse menu series.
