Top Chef Junior Holds Open Casting Call On Gold Coast

CHICAGO, IL – An open casting call for Top Chef Junior will be held in Chicago this Saturday. If you know a talented young chef, they can audition at the Ambassador Hotel on the Gold Coast between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The hotel is located at 1301 N. State Pkwy.

Universal Kids, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s network for kids ages 2 to 12, is embarking on a nationwide search for talented young chefs ages 9 to 14 who love to cook for season two of their series Top Chef Junior.

Currently in its inaugural season, new episodes of Top Chef Junior air Friday nights at 8pm/7pm Central on Universal Kids and offer contestants a chance to win the coveted Top Chef Junior title and a $50,000 cash prize.

A show for all ages, the series features the next generation of chefs competing in some of Top Chef’s most iconic challenges, including “Restaurant Wars,” as well as new kid-friendly ones created exclusively for Top Chef Junior.

Chicago will be one of nine major U.S. cities hosting open call auditions for Top Chef Junior on Dec. 9.
