VanKoevering Receives National Award from Northwestern Mutual

Lincoln Park resident Sherrie Robert VanKoevering, CLTC, a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative based in Chicago, is receiving the company’s Emerald award based on an outstanding year of helping clients achieve financial security.

Vankoevering began her Northwestern Mutual career as a college representative while attending University of California Santa Barbara. Also as a student, she won the New Venture Competition through the University of California’s College of Engineering Technology Management program. Upon graduation the award enabled her to successfully launch and subsequently sell a medical software company. She resumed her career as a financial representative upon moving to Chicago in 2011 when she joined The McTigue Financial Group of Northwestern Mutual.

A 2008 graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara, she also holds her Certified Long Term Care (CLTC) designation. VanKoevering volunteers with Salvation United, and is a member of the Executives Club of Chicago, Women Healthcare Executive Network, and Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce. She is a frequent speaker at regional and national financial advising events. In July of 2014 she was featured as a distinguished speaker at Northwestern Mutual’s National 2014 Women Connect Seminar.
