Whole Foods May Replace Dominick's Near DePaul
The grocery store is reportedly in negotiations to purchase seven Chicago-area Dominick's, including the one at 959 W. Fullerton.
Whole Foods Market Inc. is negotiating a deal to purchase the Dominick's store at 959 W. Fullerton near DePaul, Crain's Chicago Business reports.
The Austin, TX-based chain is reportedly in talks to buy six other Chicago-area Dominick's stores after the chain announced it was selling all 72 Chicagoland stores earlier this year, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
Dominick's parent company, Safeway, has said it will exit the Chicago market by 2014.
