Wildflower Walks at the North Pond Nature Sanctuary

The Lincoln Park Conservancy will be offering free guided tours of the North Pond Nature Sanctuary’s beautiful wildflowers on July 5, August 2, and September 6, 2014.  Come learn about the benefits of native wildflowers and how to identify them.  These easy one- hour walks are geared toward adults and are great for beginners, as well as experienced nature lovers.  Tours begin at 10 a.m. and reservations are required.  TO REGISTER: email info@lincolnparkconservancy.org or call (773) 883-PARK.  The North Pond Sanctuary is located between Diversey, Fullerton, Stockton and Cannon Drives in Lincoln Park. Tours meet at the pavilion outside of the North Pond Restaurant at 2610 N Cannon Dr.
