Woman Found Dead With Blunt Trauma In Lincoln Park: Police

CHICAGO, IL — A 29-year-old woman was found dead in her Lincoln Park apartment Monday afternoon, police said. The victim was found in her home in the 2600 block of North Hampden Court with apparent blunt trauma at around 2:52 p.m., according to Chicago police.

Police did not immediately release additional investigation on the incident, calling it only a "death investigation."

The case remains under investigation by Area North detectives, police said.
