2 Found Dead In Garage On Northwest Side

A man and a woman accidentally died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Albany Park, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — A 31-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were found dead in a garage Tuesday afternoon on the Northwest Side, police said. They were found around 3:50 p.m. in the 4100 block of North Mozart Street in Albany Park, according to police. They were pronounced dead on scene.

Both accidentally died from carbon monoxide poisoning, officials ruled Wednesday.

The woman has been identified as 31-year-old Maryilu Padilla-Vazquez of southwest suburban Summit, and the man has been identified as 34-year-old Jamie Mouricepan of West Rogers Park, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
