On Wednesday, December 11th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm the 7th Annual One Acre Fund Chicago Gala will take place at the Chicago Cultural Center. The gala will honor Harry Kraemer, author, professor, and Executive Partner at Madison Dearborn, and feature keynote speaker, Andrew Youn. Cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner from 7-9 pm.
Proceeds from the event will go to The One Acre Fund, an agriculture nonprofit that provides smallholder farmers in East Africa with the tools they need to achieve food security and increase their incomes. They currently work with 130,00 farm families in Kenya, Rwanda, and Burundi.
