ANDERSONVILLE DESSERT CRAWL

GROWN-UP TRICK OR TREATS IN CHICAGO'S UNIQUE NORTHSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD!

WHAT: The Andersonville Dessert Crawl features mouthwatering desserts from restaurants in Chicago’s wonderful Andersonville neighborhood. Choose between two routes, each filled with favorites!

WHEN: Sunday, October 25, 2015 2:00-5:00pm

WHERE: Ticket pick-up for the Andersonville Dessert Crawl is the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark, with a walk to host restaurants and shops located throughout the neighborhood.

WHO: The event supports the nonprofit Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, celebrating its 50th year, which fosters sustainable community development in the Andersonville commercial district, with $1 from each ticket benefitting Care for Real, Edgewater’s food pantry.

HOW: Tickets are $25/advance, $30/day of event. Space is limited. Tickets and information at www.andersonville.org.

It’s trick-or-treating with a gourmet – and Andersonville – flair! More than twenty restaurants in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood will showcase their sweetest and most delicious dishes on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 2:00-5:00PM. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 on the day of the event.

Participants will pick up their Dessert Crawl “passport” at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark Street, and then proceed on foot to the participating restaurants and stores for tasting-sized portions at each location.

The Andersonville Dessert Crawl is proud to be a zero waste food crawl! In partnership with Onyx Distribution, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce provides compostable serveware and utensils free of charge to participating restaurants. Compost bins will be stationed at intervals throughout the neighborhood for the use of crawl patrons. Compost pickup is provided by Collective Resource.
