Boy on Skateboard Hit by Car in Lincoln Square
The boy was hit in an alley near Giddings Plaza.

Chicago, IL - A boy on a skateboard was hit by a car Thursday evening in Lincoln Square.
Police have indicated the car was just beginning to accelerate at a stop sign in an alley near Giddings Plaza when the boy came into the intersection on the skateboard, DNAinfo Chicago reports. Comments made online indicate the boy may have been between 8 and 10 years old.
The incident occurred just prior to the start of a weekly concert event organized by the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce.
