We often associate spring cleaning with cleaning the cobwebs, sorting through clothes and getting your house or apartment ready for a new season.
Well this spring cleaning is a 21-day cleanse with an elimination diet based on the book, Clean by, Dr. Alejandro Junger.
How it works:
You start with the elimination diet, for three to four days you eat three solid meals from the designated list.
Then you start the 21-day cleanse, switching out your solid breakfast and dinner meals with smoothies or juices. Lunch and snacks should still be solid with foods from the designated elimination diet list.
I have followed this Cleanse for the last three years with great results and highly recommend the book. Typically, I do this cleanse in January. This year it made more sense with my schedule to try it now. I officially started Monday, April 8, 2013 and will continue until May 6, 2013.
