Chicago Man Keeps Promise to Girlfriend After Winning Lottery
Neekola Saree won $1 million from a scratch-off ticket he bought on Lincoln Avenue.

CHICAGO, IL - A Chicago man promised his girlfriend that if he ever won the lottery, he would pay off her car.
So after winning $1 million in an Illinois Lottery ‘Jumbo Bucks’ scratch-off ticket recently, that’s exactly what 38-year-old Neekola Saree did.
“I promised my girlfriend that if I ever won the Lottery I would pay off her car, so that is the first thing I will do,” said Saree, who purchased the winning ticket from Eden Liquor & Foods at 5359 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago.
