'Cider Pub' Coming to Copper House Space
The team behind the Fountainhead on Montrose is opening a new cider bar in what used to be Copper House and before that, Jury's.

The folks behind Fountain Head are planning to open Chicago's first "cider pub" in what was Copper House, nee Jury's at 4337 N. Lincoln, according to Chicago Eater. The new spot will be called Northman.
According to the Copper House website, the team is keeping the bar open while it transitions to its new incarnation and, in the interim, will be called "Meantime."
A note on the website reads: "We look forward to creating a stellar food and beverage program worthy of this flourishing neighborhood. In the "Meantime," we will make some changes to the food and beverage program, serving hearty winter fare and offering a delicious winter beverage program. We do plan to close down the space in March to re-concept and open the new establishment in late spring."
More info will be available next month, the site says.
Last year, Fountainhead hired chef Cleetus Friedman, formerly of City Provisions. He will be the executive chef at Northman, which will feature more than 100 ciders, according to Chicago Eater.
