CTA Conductor Attacked On Red Line Near Sheridan
Police said a 19-year-old man was drunk when he assaulted a conductor in Lakeview.

CHICAGO, IL — A man is in custody after he attacked a CTA conductor on Chicago's North Side, police said. The man, 19, allegedly hit the conductor in the face through the train's window while it was stopped. The incident happened on the Red Line near the Sheridan Station Saturday morning, police said.
Saman Griffiths is charged with assault, police said. According to officials, he was intoxicated at the time of the alleged attack.
