Elderly Man Robbed In Lincoln Square
An 87-year-old man was walking on North Rockwell Street when he was grabbed and mugged, police said.
CHICAGO, IL — An elderly man was robbed in Lincoln Square Wednesday morning, police said. The mugging happened in the 4400 block of North Rockwell Street around 11:45 a.m., according to police. Police are searching for the offender.
The 87-year-old man was walking north on Rockwell when someone grabbed his arm, reached into the pocket of his pants, and stole his wallet, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, standing around 5-foot-9, police said. He was wearing a white shirt and dark shorts.
