Midnight Circus in the parks will close out this year’s tour at Welles Park – where it all began in 2007
The Midnight Circus in partnership with the Chicago Park District, Peoples Gas and all volunteer park advisory councils, present the seventh annual Circus in the Parks. Winner of the 2012 Time Out Chicago Kid’s Hipsqueak reader’s choice award for “Best Annual Family Event”, this unique performance features an eclectic ensemble of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, contortionists and a dog under a little big top tent.
This incredible show puts all proceeds back into park improvements, having helped to raise over $400,000 since the beginning. Yet even without this charitable aspect – you will want to see the show. Every year, new acts, new performers, new songs. It never ceases to amaze. And this year, a new Friday night, 7pm show, not your usual date night. This of course on top of the usual Sat. 2 or 5pm shows or the Sun. 1 or 4pm shows.
