A free concert will be performed by the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra on Sunday, June 22, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event, A Midsommer's Concert, is a celebration of the Orchestra's 25th anniversary season and the upcoming grand opening of Swedish Covenant Hospital's Women's Health Center.
The concert features a program of Swedish and women composers, including:
- Clara Schumann
- Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel
- Johan Svendsen
- Dag Wiren
- Leroy Anderson
- Howard Hanson
The event will be held in the auditorium of Swedish Covenant Hospital's Anderson Pavilion, located at 2751 W. Winona Ave.
