The latest data released by the CDC shows that flu season has hit early and hard across several regions in the United States. Reports indicate that H1N1, dubbed swine flu, has reemerged after causing significant deaths in 2009. Fortunately, this year’s flu vaccine protects against H1N1.
To help prevent the spread of influenza, including swine flu, free flu shots are available at MedSpring Immediate Care’s Lakeview, Naperville and Arlington Heights locations from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. each Tuesday in January.
Vaccines are offered on a walk-in basis, while supplies last.
