To kick off National EMS Week and show our support for all of the selfless first responders who serve Chicago's north side, Swedish Covenant Hospital hosted a dedication breakfast this morning.
A few months ago, we participated in the Great Chicago Fire Hydrants project, with our contribution on display outside of the Emergency Department. Today we dedicated that display to the men and women who sacrifice so much to ensure our neighbors recieve critical medical attention when they need it most.
We were thrilled to have the fire hydrant's artist, Kari Lindholm-Johnson, speak at the dedication. The fire hydrant was also blessed by Rabi Moshe Wolf and Father Thomas Mulcrone.
