Have You Seen Her? Police Hunt for Missing West Ridge Woman New to the U.S.
Bertalina Carvajal, 68, only speaks Spanish, and she was last seen Jan. 25.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are searching for a missing elderly Hispanic woman from the West Ridge neighborhood who doesn't know her way around the city and doesn't speak English.
Bertalina Carvajal, 68, lives in the 6500 block of North Mozart Street and was last seen on Jan. 25, according to Chicago police. Carvajal is new to the United States and only speaks Spanish, police said.
She is described as being 5 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black-gray hair. Carvajal was last seen wearing a green jacket, red-and-blue flower pants and red dress shoes. She also was carrying a black purse.
