A family friendly outdoor Irish Christmas Market! Come enjoy free entrance to a showcase of local and Irish gifts, food and drinks, and festive entertainment including Christmas carolers, Irish dancers, singers and more. Vendors include Mrs. Murphy’s & Sons Irish Bistro, Begyle Brewery, Himmel’s European Bistro, Sweeet Sensations and Garden Farmer’s Market. Organized by Eamon Byrne who recently moved to Chicago from Kilkenny, Ireland, this event will not disappoint.
When and Where?
Saturday and Sundays (December 7th & 8th, 14th & 15th and 21st & 22nd) from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Montrose Green - 1819 W. Montrose, directly next to the Montrose Brown Line L stop.
Fun for the family too!
Children can have their picture taken with Santa from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and the entertainment will kick off on December 7th at noon with a warm and engaging performance for children by one of the Old Town School of Folk Music's wonderful Wiggleworms instructors.
