Jewelry Robber Sought in Albany Park
Police are looking for a white man in connection with three recent strong arm robbery incidents in the 17th District.
CHICAGO, IL - Neighbors in Albany Park are on alert after three recent incidents in which a man has approached someone and grabbed the chain or necklace off their neck.
Police in the city's 17th District describe the offender as a white man, 20-35 years old, 5'8"-6'0", weighing 200 pounds with short brown hair.
The first incident was reported in the 3100 block of Leland at 11:15 a.m. on June 13. Two additional incidents were reported within five minutes of each other in the 4700 block of N. Drake and 4900 block of N. Harding on June 16.

In the incidents, the man begins the robbery by mumbling something to the victim.
