Latest Map Of Albany Park, North Mayfair Car Thefts

CHICAGO, IL — Police are warning of another string of car thefts in the Albany Park area. According to a community alert, the thefts happened between Jan. 29 and Feb. 19. In four of the incidents, victims left their vehicles running with their keys in the ignition, police said.

The thefts happened in the following locations:

• 3200 block of West Foster Ave. on Jan. 29 between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
• 3300 block of West Balmoral Ave. on Jan. 30 at 1:50 p.m.
• 4800 block of North Drake Ave. on Feb. 3 at 4:30 a.m.
• 5000 block of North Kostner Ave. between 10 p.m. on Feb. 4 and 6 a.m. on
Feb. 5.
• 3900 block of West Lawrence Ave. on Feb. 7 at 10:10 p.m.
• 4900 block of North Monticello Ave. on Feb. 19 at 1 a.m.
• 3100 block of West Foster Ave. on Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.
• 5200 block of North Sawyer Ave. from 12 p.m. on Feb. 19 to 7 a.m.
on Feb. 20.
• 5000 block of North Ridgeway Ave. on Feb. 19 at 10 p.m.
