Letting Go: Having Conversations About the End of Life

Discussions about end-up-life plans can bring closeness and comfort to individuals and families. Join us on Tuesday, April 12th at 5:30 PM.

Presented by: Nancy Flowers LCSW, Social Work Manager for Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care Signe Gleeson RNC, CCM, MS, Founder of ElderCare Solutions

While there are things we cannot control as the end of life nears, there are many things that are in our control if we are willing to prepare with honest and heartfelt conversations. Rather than being something to fear, such discussions can bring closeness and comfort to individuals and families. This presentation will include:

  • When and how to approach a conversation
  • Factors to consider in making decisions
  • How to maintain control of care decisions
  • When doing less is doing more
