LINCOLN SQUARE — Lincoln Square and Ravenswood are getting spooky, and not just on Halloween.

Local businesses and city officials are hosting virtual and in-person Halloween-themed events throughout October.

Stop by Wednesday Night Live at 5 p.m Oct. 20 at Ainslie Arts Plaza, 4844 N. Lincoln Ave., for a pumpkin decorating contest, costume contest and screening of “Hocus Pocus.” The offices of Alds. Andre Vasquez (40th) and Matt Martin (47th) are sponsoring.

Then, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 23, dress up your pup for Pup-O-Ween at Ainslie Arts Plaza and find treats for owners and dogs. Owners can also register their dogs in a costume contest online for a chance to win prizes. Read more HERE
