The vote will take place this Thursday at Gideon Welles.

CHICAGO, IL — Heart of Lincoln Square Neighbors Association has announced its 2018 board of directors candidates. The group will hold a vote at Gideon Welles pub Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. Attendees will have about 15 candidates to choose from during the group's second meeting of the new year.
The Heart of Lincoln Square Neighbors Association, which held its kickoff event in early October of 2017, said it doesn't discriminate based on geographic boundaries—anyone who felt connected to the Lincoln Square community is welcome to come to its meetings.
Up to nine community members will sit on the board, according to the association's webpage. Many of the candidates have lived in Lincoln Square for more than a decade.
