Lincoln Square Residents in Porchlight’s Latest Streamed Concert

Lincoln Square residents Austin Winter and Austin Nelson Jr. will be featured in New Faces Sing Broadway 1947 at Porchlight Music Theatre, which highlights the next generation of talent, alongside host Robin DaSilva and nine other up and coming talents. Audiences can expect to be taken on a 90 minute musical journey of the 1947 Broadway season through song, historic information, trivia and sing alongs. New Faces will be available for streaming beginning Friday, April 8 at 12 p.m. CDT through Thursday, May 5 at 11:59 p.m. CDT.

Austin Winter is a Milwaukee native, a graduate of Carthage College, and a resident of Lincoln Square. Austin Nelson Jr. is a Bolingbrook, Illinois native and also a graduate of Carthage College. Credits around Chicago include “Sister Act” at Mercury Theater Chicago and “Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical” at Apollo Theatre.

New Faces Sing Broadway 1947 is directed by Adrian Abel Azevedo, with music direction by Linda Madonia and was filmed on-site at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts where Porchlight Music Theatre is an in-resident organization.
