Man Charged With Running Brothel In Albany Park

A man has been charged with running a brothel out of an apartment in the city's Albany Park neighborhood.

CHICAGO, IL — A man has been charged with running a brothel out of his Albany Park apartment, police said. The apartment is located in the 3900 block of West Lawrence Avenue in the city's northwest side. Jesus Guerrero, 25, faces two counts of promoting prostitution.

Police said Guerrero was arrested after making an arrangement with an undercover officer to have sex with a woman at the apartment for money. After investigators executed a search warrant, two women were found inside the apartment, and they were offered victim services, police said.

The apartment was one of three locations searched by the Cook County sheriff's offices and Homeland Security Investigations in June after officers learned that brothels were operating at the locations, according to authorities.
