Man Shot In Vehicle in Lincoln Square

CHICAGO, IL — A man, 34, was shot Monday evening in the city's Northwest Side, police said. The shooting happened in the Lincoln Square neighborhood at around 6:30 p.m. Police said the victim was inside a car at the time.

The shooting happened in the 5200 block of North Lincoln Avenue near West Foster Avenue, according to police. The victim was shot in the abdomen while he was inside the vehicle.

The 34-year-old was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was listed as stable, police said.
