Man Stabbed During Robbery Attempt On Red Line Train In Uptown
The attack happened near the Argyle stop, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — A man was stabbed during a robbery attempt on a Red Line train early Wednesday in Uptown, police said. The 25-year-old man was riding the train just after 2 a.m., when another passenger stabbed him in the stomach, police said. The suspect then demanded the victim's property, according to police.
The suspect left the train at the Argyle stop without taking the victim's belongings, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
