Man Wanted for Luring Child in Albany Park

Police say the man approached the victim as he was walking home from Eugene Field Park.

CHICAGO, IL - Police are looking for a man who engaged a child in conversation and made a lewd comment last week.

A Chicago Police Department alert in the 17th District indicates a man approached the child at 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10 as he was walking home from Eugene Field Park in the city's Albany Park neighborhood.

The young boy was in fear, and had to walk into the street to avoid further contact.

Police describe the suspect as a man with dark complexion, about 5'8", 275 lbs. and between 30 and 35 years old. He is bald and has a tribal tattoo on his upper left arm. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and tan short pants.
