YOU'RE INVITED! Join McPherson School and the entire Ravenswood / Lincoln Square community in celebrating the start of construction on a NEW PLAYGROUND and landscaping. The event will be tons of fun for kids, families, and neighbors.

- COMMUNITY ART: Commemorative Weaving Project lead by ArtReach at LillStreet
McPherson School, in partnership with Senator Heather
Steans, Alderman Pawar, Grow47, Ravenswood Community Council and many other
community partners have coordinated a comprehensive planning process over the
last several months which resulted in a fabulous campus master plan. The team
working on this effort has secured resources to pursue two major components of
the project, including new play structures and play spaces on the west side of
the campus, and new landscaping and outdoor classroom spaces on the east
campus. We are excited to bring our students, teachers, parents and
neighbors together to celebrate what promises to be a new era at Lincoln
Square's neighborhood school, McPherson Elementary.
