Bistro Campagne’s wine dinners highlight wines and spirits exclusively served at that night’s dinner with courses created by Chef Adam Dittmer to showcase the featured libation and that season’s flavors. The October menu celebrates Alsatian wines from the Maison Pierre Sparr estate imported by Wilson Daniels and distributed by Tenzing. Bistro Campagne’s Chef Dittmer pairs each wine with a five-course menu.

Located in the heart of Alsace’s famous vineyard, the Maison Pierre Sparr estate has been producing wine since 1680 on almost 40 acres of its own, in addition to more than 350 acres owned by established growers who adhere to the Sparr winery’s high standards of viticulture. For many years the Sparr family has researched the different factors that contribute to the identity and originality of each parcel of land. In 1996, a procedure was put in place that assures the precise choice of grapes to produce the finest cuvées that express their terroir origins. Meticulous care is taken in the vineyards - avoiding chemical fertilizers and pesticides, limiting yields, harvesting by hand - to enhance the distinctive aromatic and flavor profile found in each Sparr wine.
